Some Facts About CPR
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency technique that anyone can learn to help someone whose heart and/or breathing has stopped. The heart and/or breathing can stop from a number of causes, including heart attack, choking, drowning or electric shock. When breathing has stopped, blood cannot receive oxygen, and when the heart has stopped (cardiac arrest), the blood cannot circulate to nourish the body. Therefore, it is vital for people in this emergency situation to receive medical treatment such as CPR within the first four minutes.
CPR does not restart a heart in ventricular fibrillation, but it can keep a victim alive until a defibrillator can be used to shock the heart back into a normal rhythm. Defibrillators are available at hospitals and in many ambulances, and are also becoming more available in malls, golf courses and other public places.
CPR provides a trickle of oxygenated blood to the brain and heart and keeps these organs alive until defibrillation can shock the heart into a normal rhythm.

ان التنفس الصناعى ده ضرورى فى حالات توقف القلب او التنفس
اللى بيسببهم حاجات كتير زى الاختناق والغرق والصدمات الكهربية وغيرها
ولما بنعمل التنفس الصناعى فبنعمله كحاله مؤقته تدينا وقت زياده للمريض يعنى بتزود مخه ببعض الاكسجين والدم اللى تخليه عايش فترة لحد وصول المسعفين فقط
لان حالات توقف القلب بتحتاج جهاز الصدمات defibrillator علشان القلب يرجع يشتغل بشكل سليم تانى
طيب ازاى بقى بنعمل الCPR
Attempt to wake victim. Briskly rub your knuckles against the victim's sternum. If the victim does not wake, proceed to step 3. If the victim wakes, moans, or moves, then CPR is not necessary at this time. .
Begin rescue breathing. Open the victim's airway using the head-tilt, chin-lift method. Put your ear to the victim's open mouth:
look for chest movement
listen for air flowing through the mouth or nose
feel for air on your cheek
If there is no breathing, pinch the victim's nose; make a seal over the victim's mouth with yours. Give the victim a breath big enough to make the chest rise. Let the chest fall, then repeat the rescue breath once more.
Begin chest compressions. Place the heel of your hand in the middle of the victim's chest. Put your other hand on top of the first with your fingers interlaced. Compress the chest about 1-1/2 to 2 inches (4-5 cm). Allow the chest to completely recoil before the next compression. Compress the chest at a rate equal to 100/minute. Perform 30 compressions at this rate.
Repeat rescue breaths. Open the airway with head-tilt, chin-lift again. This time, go directly to rescue breaths without checking for breathing again. Give one breath, making sure the chest rises and falls, then give another.
Perform 30 more chest compressions. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for about two minutes.
Stop compressions and recheck victim for breathing. If the victim is not breathing, continue chest compressions and rescue breaths.
Keep going until help arrives.
Tips
Chest compressions are extremely important. If you are not comfortable giving rescue breaths, still perform chest compressions!
It's normal to feel pops and snaps when you first begin chest compressions - DON'T STOP! You aren't going to make the victim any worse. Cardiac arrest is as bad as it gets.
When performing chest compressions, do not let your hands bounce. Let the chest fully recoil, but keep the heel of your
hand in contact with the sternum at all times.
حد فاهم حاجة؟؟؟؟؟؟؟
1-اول حاجه احاول افوق المريض انى ادعك بمفاصل ايدى عند عظمة القص لو مفيش اى رد فعل باعمل التنفس الصناعى
2-بابدا التنفس الصناعى انى برجع رأس المريض للخلف
وتكون ذقنه مرفوعه لفوق وفمه مقفول
واقرب اذنى ناحيه انفه واشوف اذا كان فى تنفس ولا لأ
(اشوف الصدر بيتحرك ولا لأ - فى هواء بحسه خارج من انفه)
3- لو مفيش تنفس بسد انف المريض وابدأ انفخ جامد فى فم المريض بمعنى انى بديله تنفس والمفرض انى اعمل كده مرتين واشوف اذا كان صدر المريض ارتفع ولا لأ
4-لو حصل والمريض صدره مارتفعش باعمل نفس الخطوة تانى لو لسه برده بحاول اشوف اذا كان فى حاجه بتسد دخول الهواء للرئتين (هنتكلم عليها بعدين)
5-لو ارتفع صدره بسيبه لحد مايهبط تانى وبعدين اكرر
الى جانب انى ببدأ الضغط على صدره
6- زى ما الصورة موضحه اليدين بيكونوا عند عظمة القص مشبوكين ببعض وبضغط لحوالى 4 سم واسيبه لحد ما يرجع تانى
وبفضل اعمل الضغط ده لحوالى 30 مرة
واقعد اكرر الخطوات دى لحد مااحس ان فيه تنفس
او لحد ما يوصل المسعفين
هنا بقى فى ملحوظه مهمة اوى
وانا بعمل الضغط على صدر المريض ممكن اسمع طرقعه تحت ايدى
دى حاجة عادية ولازم تحصل وهى اصلا بتكونfracture ribs

ماذا لو لم يرتفع الصدر خلال التنفس الصناعي!!
• إذا لم يرتفع صدر المصاب خلال التنفس الصناعي فعليك التأكد مما يلي:
أن مجرى الهواء مفتوح ...
أنك قد أقفلت أنف المصاب بيدك جيداً وأنت تنفخ...
أن قد أحكمت على فم المصاب بفمك بدون أي مسامات...
• إذا تأكدت من السابق قوم بنفخة أخرى إذا لم يرتفع الصدر فهذا دليل على وجود ما
يسد مجرى الهواء من الداخل...
• انظر إلى داخل الفم إذا كان هناك أي من العوالق وأخرجها بواسطة أصبعك...
(تأكد من عدم دفعك لها إلى الخلف أو لمسك لحلق المصاب)...
• إذا فشلت في ذلك أميل المصاب إلى ناحيتك على جنبه كما لو كنت ستضعه في
الوضعية الآمنة ولكن لا تجعله على وجهه (أمنع ذلك بأمالته على ركبتك مباشرة وليس
على الأرض) بهذه الطريقة:
• توسط المكان بين لوحي كتف المصاب...
• استخدم راحة يدك وأعط إلى خمس ضربات بين لوحي الكتف بهذه الطريقة:
ولاحظ إذا خرج أي شيء من فم المصاب ...
• إذا لم يخرج شيء من فم المصاب سوف تحتاج أن تعطيه الدفع البطني ....
بهذ الشكل:
• باستلقاء المصاب على الأرض تجث فوق أفخاذه بحيث تكون بين رجليك كما في
الصورة...
• تضع عقب الكف (أسف راحة الكف) في منتصف الطريق بين السرّة والقفص الصدري
وضع يدك الأخرى على الأولى...
• أضغط بقوة إلأى الداخل وإلى أعلى في نفس الوقت تحت القفص الصدري مباشرة...
(أعط خمس ضغطات)
• أبحث عن أي شيء خارج في الفم ....
• إذا فشلت في ذلك أعيد التنفس الصناعي مرة أخرى ولكن بدفع الهواء في الفم بقوة
أكثر لتتمكن من تحريك أي عوالق أو على الأقل لكي يمر الهواء من خلال العالق...
• أعيد التنفس والضرب مابين الأكتاف والضغط البطي حتى تصل المساعدة أو حتى
يتمكن المصاب من التنفس ....
